Failure to Diagnose Cholesteatoma

Gabe Sassin successfully tried a medical malpractice case against a physician who failed to timely diagnose a cholesteatoma in a pediatric patient’s ear. The delayed diagnosis allowed the condition to progress unchecked, ultimately causing the child to suffer permanent hearing loss. Following trial, the jury returned a verdict of $530,790 in favor of the client.
