On March 3rd, 2023, Pharmedica USA LLC issued a Worldwide voluntary recall for their Purely Soothing 15% MSM Drops. According to the Food and Drug Administration, Pharmedica issued this recall due to non-sterility issues and is urging consumers to immediately stop using the product and return it to the place where it was purchased. 

Pharmedica also requested that all wholesalers and retailers stop distributing the product and return it to Pharmedica USA LLC immediately or dispose of the product with proper verification. 

Which Pharmedica Contaminated Eye Drops Were Recalled?

Pharmedica manufactures the Purely Soothing Drops in Phoenix, Arizona, and they are distributed Worldwide via online e-commerce websites and Trade shows. One of the primary places consumers purchased this product was on Amazon MarketPlace.

The non-sterile Purely Soothing 15% MSM Drops are packaged in white, cylindrical HDPE bottles. These products have eye dropper caps and white lids. Please reference the Lot# and UPC numbers printed on the label to see if you have a contaminated product.
