The primary care physician sent him for an ultrasound, but not a mammogram.  The radiologist read the ultrasound as a collection of fact with no concerns for cancer.  Five years later, the Plaintiff was diagnosed with Stage 4 male breast cancer.  The firm\u2019s investigation determined that the radiologist had misread the ultrasound film and that a tumor should have been diagnosed.  Further, the primary care physician should have ordered a mammogram, not an ultrasound as well as examined the area during visits over the next five years.  The case was settled shortly before trial and a trust was created for the Plaintiff\u2019s family for their needs.  Unfortunately, the Plaintiff succumbed to his cancer months after the settlement.
